Share the Warmth

Share the Warmth is a program by Reconnect that empowers youth to enhance their well-being by sharing love, warmth, and care in overlooked areas of Aotearoa.

 

This initiative provides young people with opportunities to serve society, fostering both personal growth and a sense of community. Many youth want to make a positive difference but may not know where to start or feel they can’t do it alone. Whether it’s engaging with rough sleepers, cleaning up the environment, or supporting those in need, joining a caring group makes these acts of kindness safer, easier, and more impactful.

 

For over five years, Reconnect has been addressing social issues such as homelessness, environmental care, and mental health. Now, we are expanding our mission by actively inviting youth and young people to be at the heart of this movement, providing them with meaningful ways to serve and build connections that strengthen both individuals and communities.
